At Gentle Giant Bully Kennel, you pick your pup in a line method, each spot in the line is worth a different price. The line method is separated by gender, and the first pick is always the most expensive, the price decreases as you go down the line. You can pick your puppy once they are 7 weeks old, the first in line will pick, and then the second, and so on until all the puppies have homes.

Once you have selected which spot you want in line you move on to the step of signing a contract and making a deposit. The contract ensures that all parties are protected. We will not hold a puppy without a deposit.

At 7 weeks, each puppy will get vaccinations and receive a full examination. Each puppy will be seen by Dr. Caudle, who specializes in breeding and newborn puppy care. Dr. Caudle will ensure your puppy is healthy and will create a health certificate for your puppy. You will get the original copy of this health certificate.

Each puppy will also get their first DAPP set of shots, for vaccination of healthy dogs 6 weeks of age or older against canine distemper virus (CDV), canine adenovirus type 1 (CAV1), canine adenovirus type 2 (CAV2), canine parainfluenza virus (CPiV), canine parvovirus (CPV), and canine parvovirus type 2c (CPV2c).

Now it’s time to officially pick your new baby. We will call the first in line and provide live footage so you can pick your puppy. This is a good time to ask us any questions you may have. You will have lots of pictures, videos, facetime, to get to know the litter and to help you make an informed choice on your new family member.

Transportation

When it’s time to pick your puppy up you have a few options:

First option is to come in person to pick up your puppy, if you plan to fly with your puppy just know that this is not a simple process which is why the second option is to use a flight nanny service if it is too far to drive your puppy home yourself. These two options ensure that your puppy is safe and not interacting with other animals that are not vaccinated or potentially sick.

GGB will not allow anyone to use ground transportation to transport their puppy. This is unsafe and traumatic for your new baby. We will not sell a puppy to you if this is the method you want to use to pick up your puppy, the puppies’ safety is our main priority.

Leaving the Yard

Your puppy will come with its health certificate, shot records, and ABKC registration paperwork. Your puppy will also come with snacks, food, and a toy to get you started.
